I just got home and already I’m missing the peace and quiet of Brunei :( What a refreshing escape it was. I had so much time to myself that I was writing and reading almost everyday there - something I havent done in so long. It feels awesome to stay away from all things technology! Brunei isnt boring. Sometimes I’m terrified of my heart; of its constant hunger for whatever it is it wants. The way it stops and starts.
It's 2am feeling like I've lost a friend.
I hope some day, I can look back on this process and realise that it was preparing me for something greater. This rough patch will end soon enough.
Reminder to self: Trust in Allah - always and forever.
